Attendance

The uEducateUs platform provides a comprehensive attendance management solution aligned with regulatory policies and adaptable to both primary and secondary school requirements.

Recording Attendance

The system supports daily roll creation with automatic generation of AM and PM rolls for primary schools. For secondary settings, multiple period-based rolls can be generated per class or subject to ensure compliance with period-by-period attendance requirements.

Only department provided attendance codes are available for use in the product.  New or existing codes can be enabled / disabled at the departments request.  Codes that the schools do not wish to be used can also be disabled.

Late arrivals and early departures including KIOSK integration

The Kiosk feature of the product allows for parents to submit late arrival and early departure records directly.  These records can be set to directly update the attendance rolls or require administration staff to review and approve the records created.

Where the school chooses not to implement the Kiosk, arrival and departure records can be directly created by administration staff including the ability to notify class teachers of the arrival / departure.

Absence Management

Comprehensive tools exist for the handling of absences. Absent notes can be raised by parents and staff depending on the communication received.

Unexplained student absences are listed and clearly identified for easy follow up with parent contact information included for easy access.

Attendance presets allow for automatic allocation of attendance codes and reasons, including management of planned study free periods. Attendance comments are available for both roll marking, absent notes raised and attendance presets where additional information is required.

Data Storage and Compliance

All attendance records are securely stored in accordance with Department policy requirements. Attendance data is retained for compliance and auditing purposes including attendance audit table identifying any changes made to a students record after initial roll marking.
